Nestled within the vibrant “Åbenheden” park corridor of Høje Taastrup C, the Artable skatepark emerges not just as a playground but as a landmark of urban innovation. Stretching nearly 1 km, it’s heralded as the world’s longest skatepark, weaving gracefully between Høje Taastrup Station and the City 2 shopping center.
Designed by the legendary Danish skater Rune Glifberg in collaboration with Ebbe Lykke, this sculptural concrete ribbon was meticulously hand-cast and finished by FSR Beton, crafted with the precision and flow of a skater’s touch.
Beyond its dynamic skate features, Artable is an eco-responsive marvel—doubling as a climate-adaptive drainage system, channeling rainwater through engineered basins, ditches, and rain gardens to handle storm surges with capacity up to 6,500 m³.
As part of a 42,000 m² parkscape, it’s surrounded by green play zones like the “Trylleskov,” a “Kyssebakke,” and inviting areas to relax—making it not just for active skaters but also a social and ecological oasis for all.
